Day 1: Arrival in Ayodhya

Upon arrival at Maharishi Valmiki International Airport, our representative will greet you with a traditional welcome and escort you to your hotel. After check-in, take some time to freshen up, enjoy lunch if time permits, and prepare for a spiritual journey through the birthplace of Lord Ram.

Hotel Check-in: After settling into your hotel, get ready to be immersed in the divine ambiance of Ayodhya.

Morning (Temples):- Visit the famous undermentioned temples of Ayodhya for darshan in the morning. These temples are located in nearby premises; by walking, you can visit all the temples.

1). Shree Ram janam bhoomi: Visit the grand temple dedicated to Shree Ram janam bhoomi, where Lord Ram was born.

2). Hanuman Garhi: Climb 80 to 100 stairs to the temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman, believed to protect the city and its devotees. After completing 14 years of Vanavas, when Shri Ram came back to Ayodhya with Lord Hanuman, this is the place where he lived.

3). Kanak Bhawan: The golden-crafted temple of Shri Ram, Laxman, Sita, and Lord Hanuman.

4). Dashrath Mahal: The palace where the father of Shri Ram, Lord Dashrath, lived.

Afternoon: After lunch at a local restaurant or hotel, continue exploring the spiritual landmarks of Ayodhya.

1). Guptar Ghat: A sacred ghat on the banks of the Sarayu River, where Lord Ram is believed to have taken Jal Samadhi. Devotees visit to seek peace and witness the serene riverfront.

1). Saryu Aarti at Naya Ghat: The divine aarti in the evening when the Saryu River bank aarti rituals are performed amidst chanting and lamps lit by pious priests.

2). Ram Ki Paidi & Laser Show: Witness the lighted ghats and the fascinating laser show that retells the saga of Lord Ram.

3). Lata Mangeshkar Chauraha: A beautiful photo point adorned with artistic lighting, Surya Stambh, and the grand Veena, symbolizing Ayodhya’s cultural beauty.

Travel & Sightseeing Notes

1). Most temples and ghats in the city are at a short drive or walking distance and can easily be accessed in a full-day excursion.

2). Recommended: Dress modestly and keep some snacks with you, as you'll be spending lots of time in temples and ghats.

3). To have a richer experience, consider hiring a local guide who will not only show you the places but also explain the spiritual and historical meaning of the sites.

Day 2 : Ayodhya - Prayagraj - Chitrakoot

Day 2: Ayodhya to Prayagraj to Chitrakoot:-  

Begin from Ayodhya after breakfast early in the morning to take the spiritual as well as picturesque tour to Chitrakoot via Prayagraj

Morning  (Ayodhya to Prayagraj):- Road journey from Ayodhya to Prayagraj (4-5 hours, 170 km).

1) Triveni Sangam: Visit the point where the three rivers Ganga, Yamuna, & Saraswati confluence. Nagariya for an evening ride on the river during the Aarti ceremony.

2) Allahabad Fort:  Experience the history around the Mughal fort that houses the Ashok Pillar and

3) Anand Bhavan: Go to the museum and former residential area of the Nehru and Gandhi families, which preserves the atmosphere of the freedom struggle in India.

Afternoon (Prayagraj to Chitrakoot):- In the afternoon, after lunch, we would
Prayagraj to Chitrakoot (approx. 5–6 hours, 220 km)

 

1) Hotel Check-in: Evening, Chitrakoot. Check-in.

2) Evening Ram Ghat Ganga Aarti: Experience peace and Devotional timings of Ganga Aarti that is performed at the Ram Ghat of Chitrakoot city

3) Local Market Walk (optional): It is also possible to visit the local market, if time and health allow.

4.) Dinner and Overnight Stay: Come back to the hotel for dinner and an overnight stay

Travel & Sightseeing Notes:
1). Travel distance Ayodhya → Prayagraj: approx. 4–5 hours (170 km).
2). Travel distance Prayagraj → Chitrakoot: approx. 5–6 hours (220 km).
3). Start early from Ayodhya to comfortably cover Prayagraj sightseeing and reach Chitrakoot by evening.
4). Traffic and road conditions may vary; plan some buffer time for delays, especially during festivals or peak seasons.

Day 3 : Chitrakoot - Varanasi

Day 3: Chitrakoot Local to Varanasi: After the religious visit to Chitrakoot, move to Varanasi and stay for the night.
 

Morning (Chitrakoot Sightseeing):

1) Ram Ghat: It is here that the day starts in this religious ghat since it is considered the exact spot where Lord Rama had to stay in exile.
2) Kamadgiri Hills: One of the best-known hills, believed to be the ‘Heart of Stay’ of Lord Ram in Vanvas. Circumambulation (Parikrama) of the hill in reverence of religious ritual.
3) Sati Anusuya Ashram: The peaceful and serene ashram is named after Viralaru Sati Anusuya and is renowned for its environment and spiritual setting.
4) Gupt Godavari Caves: Explore the mystery associated with these caves and the river that lies beneath them, and understand the pilgrimage that takes place in this ancient location.

Afternoon (Chitrakoot to Varanasi)

1) After lunch, depart for Varanasi from Chitrakoot (6-7 hours, 280km drive).

Evening (Varanasi):

1) On arrival: In Varanasi, check into your hotel to freshen up.
2) Dinner & Overnight Stay: Have dinner either from the hotel or some local restaurant and have an overnight stay in the hotel.

Travel & Sightseeing Notes:

1) Take enough time in the morning to explore key sites in Chitrakoot and proceed for the journey to Varanasi.
2) Travel distance Chitrakoot → Varanasi: approx. 6–7 hours (280 km); consider breaks for refreshment during the journey.
3) Explore the ghats and the older parts of Varanasi on foot or via rickshaw in the evening, as the streets there are narrow.
4) You should aim to reach the place early enough to experience Ganga Aarti in the evening, which is one of the most spiritual events.

Day 4 : Varanasi

Day 4: Varanasi Sightseeing and Sarnath—Early morning boat ride in the Ganges to see the mesmerizing sunrise and observe the morning rituals of pilgrims along the ghats.

Morning (Varanasi):- Visit the famous undermentioned temples of Varanasi for darshan in the morning.

1) Kashi Vishwanath Temple: One of the Jyotirlinga dedicated to Lord Shiva.

2) Durga Temple: Commonly known as Monkey Temple, famous for its goddess Durga idol.

3) Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple: This is a Lord Hanuman temple and is famous for granting wishes.

Afternoon (Sarnath): Visit Sarnath, an important Buddhist pilgrimage center. Visit the following places:
1) Dhamek Stupa: A massive old stupa that signifies where the first Buddhist sermon was given.
2) Sarnath Museum: Houses artifacts related to the history of Buddhism.
3) Ancient Ruins: Look for the ruins of monasteries and stupas.

Return to Varanasi after the excursion.
Evening (Varanasi): In the evening, we can explore the Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti.
1) Ganga Aarti: In the evening, see the energetic spiritual Aarti from a boat.
2). Local Market: After all, at last visit the local market of Varanasi, which is very famous for Banarasi sarees.
Return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Travel & Sightseeing Notes – Varanasi

1). Varanasi has a rich culinary culture; try local specialties like kachori-sabzi, malaiyyo (seasonal), thandai, and Banarasi paan.
2). Bargaining is expected in local markets (especially for Banarasi sarees, handicrafts, and souvenirs).
3). Crowds are common during aarti times and festivals, so plan extra time for movement and entry at major temples like Kashi Vishwanath.
4). Always take care of your belongings in crowded areas, especially ghats and temple premises. Pickpocketing can occur in busy lanes.
5). Carry only the required amount of cash while visiting temples and markets. When possible, use digital payments and do not exhibit valuable items or cash.
